So we end the year with a BANG? Yeah I don’t know, not much happened in gaming this week, so we’re gonna sit on our asses like we usually do and play some games! Mix in some alcohol and you get episode #45.5 We’re taking callers all show long as well.
Fresh Air was without Kurbzz, so Matt tackled the show all alone this week. Well that isn’t entirely true, Teddy and Ben joined in later for news of the week such as, Capcom delaying games, THQ nailing the WWE license for 8 years and more. Then we talked with our intelligent, great fans via Skype and telephone.
This week was filled to the brim with content it was crazy! Wildmatt and Kurbzz talk about the Modern Warfare 2 online trailer, most people on 360 not using HDTVs and Castle Crashers coming to PS3 plus more! Then we did the top 10 Weapons in games and took a call, so tune in!
This’s week’s FAIOR features the first dual-review, where both Wildmatt and Kurbzz reviewed Battlefield 1943, however we talked about the games we played first, then move on to the news. Lots of stuff to go through such as the NPD sales charts for June, loads of PSP timbits, Tim Langdell’s in the news again and more. Then for the second straight week we lacked callers, oh well, tune in next week.
Loads of news happened this week and FAIOR was here to cover it. We had Dana White talking shit on EA sports while Peter Moore defended himself nicely, Marcus Gee from the Globe and Mail isn’t exactly joyous that Ubisoft is moving in on his turf and Eidos still trying to cheat the review system. We took a look back at 2008 and compared it to 2009, looks like we’ll have a great year, and we had 1 caller, so tune in it’s a good one.
Kurbzz shows up for a record breaking 2 shows in a row! We had an episode jam packed full of news such as, the next terrible Resident Evil movie got confirmed, Activision thinking about a Tony Hawk skateboard Silversurfer and Hobgoblin and more. Uncharted got the movie threatment last week and now it’s the classic 1979 game Asteroids! In the second hour we did the top 10 worst named games, did reviews for the Mayflash fight stick and Doom Resurrection on the iPhone. Finally we took some callers to round out a fine show.

This week Kurbzz decided to not show up, leaving Matt to tackle the news alone, which included a bunch of trailers and racing talk. Jeff called in to partake in the inFAMOUS review, is it awesome, listen in to find out. Then Kurbzz called in and we talked about E3 a bit, took some callers and discussed our plans for Fan Expo 2009.
